What is cyclobenzaprine?
Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant used to prevent muscle spasms. It is available as a 10 mg tablet taken by mouth.
Possible side effects
- Feeling dizzy
- Feeling drowsy
- Nausea
- Upset stomach
- Dry mouth
- Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash, hives, itching, chills, fever, headache, muscle ache, shortness of breath, coughing, tightness in the throat, swelling of the face or neck
- Not all patients who take cyclobenzaprine will experience these side effects. Common side effects are in bold, but there may be others. Please report all suspected side effects to your doctor or pharmacist.

- Discuss all questions and instructions with your doctor or pharmacist.
- This medicine can cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Other pain medicines may increase drowsiness when taken with cyclobenzaprine.
