About temozolomide
Temozolomide is an oral alkylating agent that slows or stops cancer cell growth. Patients undergo regular lab tests to monitor blood counts and organ function.

Temozolomide at home
- Take once daily at the same time, preferably at bedtime on an empty stomach.
- Swallow capsules whole with water; caregivers should wear gloves if opening capsules is necessary.
- Do not repeat doses if vomiting occurs; call the care team.
- Store capsules at room temperature.
- Do not double doses for missed doses.
